The garage resurfacing and treatment process is actually a very simple two-day process.
“Floor preparation is a critical part of the installation process,” Elliott says. “We grind the surface of the concrete to open it up and allow our coating to bond properly. A dust-collection vacuum system is used to keep concrete dust to a minimum. We then apply a base coat and a full layer of resin chips. The chips provide an added layer of durability and a slip-resistant texture. The floor cures overnight, and a top coat is applied on the second day.”
Within 24 hours, the floor has cured and is ready for use.
