Beautiful streets, happy neighbors, new homes – three components coming to a revitalized area of Downtown Indianapolis in the King Park Neighborhood called Monon 16. For years, residents around the Monon Trail in between 16th and 21st Street have patiently waited for new neighbors to join the community. The Re-Development Group (RDG) is proud to collaborate with David Weekly Homes to build 60+ new homes in this neighborhood! This location and development makes it one of the most interesting places to live close to downtown and at affordable entry levels.

“We believe downtown communities should be developed thoughtfully and holistically. Through a collaborative effort with King Park Development Corporation, we are providing a diversified development that protects legacy residents and also offers an opportunity for new homeowners,” said RDG’s CEO Patrick Dubach. The Re-Development Group was incorporated in 1998, and Monon 16 supports their mission as explained by Dubach. “Targeting vacant lots and boarded housing stock while collaborating with non-profit community development partners allows us to protect established home owners, keeping the redevelopment work as inclusive as possible,” Dubach said.

Interested in building a home in the Monon 16 Development? Each lot is 40′ x 140′. Twenty percent of the lots will accommodate affordable housing and the other eighty percent will sell at market rate. All homes will connect this development to the activity on Mass Ave and the 16th Street corridor development.
