For years, the owners of the best sports bars in Indianapolis have relied on Nathan Robison, Sales Engineer for Digital Sight & Sound, to provide the best show in town. For instance, he recently installed a massive 3×3 video wall (three TVs tall by 3 TVs wide) at the Ale Emporium in Fishers. These edge-to-edge televisions can be viewed individually or as one gigantic picture.
As the heavyweight champions of sports bar audio video systems, the team at Digital Sight & Sound can recreate that exact same magic in residential basements. Dedicated home theaters, once all the rage, have been fading in popularity, passed up by media rooms that offer a more functional and inclusive experience.
“It’s kicking down the walls of the theatre and conjoining it with a basement rec area,” says Robison. “So, whether you’re shooting pool, sitting at the bar, or relaxing in the theatre seats, everyone is in the same space as opposed to being locked in a dark room.”
In a media room, a projector may be on one side of the room with a 2×2 video wall near the bar where viewers can watch either one big high-definition image or four independent images. Perfect for watching four different games during March Madness!
“With a set-up like this, your home is guaranteed to be the number one spot in your neighborhood for friends and family to congregate!” says Robison.
Digital Sight & Sound is located at 1044 Summit Drive in Carmel. For more information, call 317-848-0101 or visit dssindy.com.
