G&G CUSTOM HOMES BUILDS A SPECTACULAR SPEC HOME IN HOLLIDAY FARMS

In the past few years, Holliday Farms has become Zionsville’s hottest new neighborhood as residents enjoy the luxurious landscapes and ample amenities that the community offers. Joe Garcia, owner of G&G Custom Homes, has been building beautiful custom homes all around Indianapolis since 2003. Recently, he decided that this was the ideal time to purchase a lot and build a modern five-bedroom, six-bath spec home in this picturesque community that offers fabulous amenities, including fitness, swimming, tennis, and a championship golf course designed by legendary course architect Pete Dye.

Located in one of the newest sections of the neighborhood, the 7,200 square foot home will overlook the number 3 green and number 4 tee box. Garcia is building something extra special in order to take advantage of the spectacular golf course view –a rooftop deck with fire pit. Inside the house leading out to that rooftop deck is an activity room with a wet bar.

“The rooftop deck will be a great place for the family to hang out or for homeowners to entertain with friends as they share a glass of wine, overlooking the views of the course,” says Garcia.

He relished the chance to build a modern home with glass garage doors, high-end appliances, vaulted ceilings, beautiful beam work, and detailed trim work throughout – all features that people are looking for when building a custom house these days. It will also be a Smart Home with all the bells and whistles that make for true luxury living. The rooftop deck creates a covered porch below, which is a sanctuary all its own. That porch will include heaters in the ceiling, as well as a dropdown bug screen to extend the life of the patio.

“In the era of COVID-19, people are spending more time at home so many of them are opting to create a space that can be used in multiple ways – for work, for play, to relax, anything goes,” says Garcia. “These days people work off their cell phone, their iPad, their laptop computer, and they can do that anywhere. As a result, fewer people are choosing to create traditional office space and instead opt for those free-flow areas that are multi-use.”

The two-story home also has a spacious basement ideal for entertaining with an open area that will include a bar and wine room. The main floor is also a great hosting spot as it will flow out to the covered porch – a prime location to relax and unwind, day or night.
