For homeowners looking to “get away from it all” while still being “in the heart of it all,” Promontory of Zionsville is made just for you as it provides the perfect balance between town and country.
“It feels like you’re out in the middle of nowhere with lots of privacy and yet you’re still super close to everything you need, including schools, shopping, and dining,” says Joe Garcia, owner of G&G Custom Homes.
As one homeowner notes, “We can do all of our daily activities like going to Grand Park but still end up back in nature at home.”
A new 220-acre development with a prime location in the heart of Zionsville, Promontory, sits right off of Michigan Road. Though it’s a small development with just 80 estate homesites in total, each lot offers ample space, and that’s a huge draw for many.
“A lot of people want bigger lots, and in a typical neighborhood, you’re scrunched in there with smaller lots,” says Garcia. “These being 2+-acre lots gives people more room. Not to mention these homesites offer gorgeous panoramic lake views.”
These big lots mean that there is plenty of space to incorporate outdoor living areas, fireplaces, custom pools, pool houses, and pergolas. Large setbacks preserve the view. The 35-acre lake is also a big draw not only because it’s lovely to look at but also because homeowners can recreate on it by kayaking, paddleboarding, or light sailing. Electric pontoons are also permitted on the lake.
The site of the 2024 Home-A-Rama, Promontory of Zionsville includes a clubhouse with a pool, workout facilities, tennis and pickleball courts, walking and equestrian trails, and acres of equestrian fields. In addition, there is plenty of rolling open terrain and expansive naturescapes. Homeowners can choose to buy a membership to either Holliday Farms or Chatham Hills clubs.
Garcia has purchased a 2.07-acre lot (see map above) that backs up to the lake. His plan is to break ground on a home in February 2023, which means he’ll start designing this fall. If you are interested in designing and building a home with G&G Custom Homes in Zionville’s newest development, contact Garcia.
“If you’d like to take advantage of being in a home show and the discounts that come along with it, including upgrades, let me know,” says Garcia.
