When setting out to create a meaningful relationship with a coworker, neighbor, or even romantic interest, there are a few values that come to the surface as the most important. Thoughtful connection, timeliness, open-mindedness, and a sense of confidence and composure may make the list. These values have been present in the relationship between Stone Artisans and AR Homes by Christopher Scott since they first started working together, over ten years ago.

This long-time duo came together to work on AR Homes’ 2022 Home-A-Rama (HAR) design. Stone Artisans provided all the countertops throughout the home, primarily using Silestone Quartz by Cosentino as well as a few touches of natural stone in the basement bar, golf simulator room and upper game room. The Stone Artisans team was most proud of the mitered island and waterfall features, which created the perfect centerpiece for this modern AR home.

“I love how the upper bar was designed to nest into the working island,” said Cory Kroger, owner of Stone Artisans. “The multi-mitered construction on this piece takes a special set of skill and care to construct.”

The team is also proud of the full-height kitchen backsplash, which compliments the mirroring fireplace surround in the living area. The vein and movement in the Silestone Quartz provided the “perfect pop” needed in the space.

Stone Artisans has over a decade of experience participating in Home-A-Rama show homes, and this year was one of the best yet. “We were so impressed with the planning from AR Homes team, and their ability to complete all tasks ahead of time,” said Kroger. “HAR can be a very stressful time for the builders and vendors. Scott, Chris, and Dan’s team at AR made for a pleasurable experience while we worked on the project.”

The work Stone Artisans provided in this year’s home showcased not only their craftsmanship, but it highlights the teamwork it takes to make a project go smoothly and without loose ends. It’s always the team’s ambition to be a partner supplier to builders. Stone Artisans realizes that the building a home involves many trades. The better they execute installation, the better the job flows for other trades that surround their product.

“Our relationship with Stone Artisans has lasted so long because of the excellent service and outstanding craftsmanship demonstrated over the years” said Dan Hayes of AR Homes. “There is no job too complicated, and Cory’s can-do attitude and willingness to get creative with complicated designs has set Stone Artisans apart and solidified their position as one of our top subcontractors with whom we work.” Hayes continued, sharing that in these times of constrained labor markets, volatility of material availability, and general uncertainty in the entire construction industry, Stone Artisans consistently finds a way to service their builders, and more importantly, their customers.
