Remember as a little kid when you played with older friends who would give you a head start in a race? It was always nice to be a bit ahead of the rest. Well, now is your chance as an adult to revisit that glorious feeling!
Promontory of Zionsville has just opened, and construction is underway for this brand-new 320-acre community. G&G Custom Homes has obtained a 2.07-acre lot that backs up to the 35-acre lake. In March 2023, G&G Custom Homes will break ground and begin building a gorgeous 8,000-sq. ft. home designed by Emily Handke Design. Promontory of Zionsville, which will host the 2024 Home-A-Rama (HAR), will ultimately house just 80 homes because the size of each lot is two acres or more. In addition, the houses sit back a minimum of 150 ft. from the street.
“This is definitely going to be a different HAR from the pure size of the lots of the neighborhood,” says Joe Garcia, owner of G&G Custom Homes. “Promontory will be a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy life and just enjoy the water and scenery on larger lots.”
Ben Engle, Sales and Real Estate Development with Henke Development, notes that, in general, Zionsville offers more open-air farmland.
“That’s what we’re trying to accomplish here with the bigger lots, skyline, tree line, and dense roads,” says Engle. “It’s really well located as development is only going to come more north. We try to get those properties that are a little on the outskirts that in the near future will be conveniently located to things.”
Garcia and his team are in the last stages of finalizing the actual design of the house. The lot will include a small dock so that the homeowner can enjoy paddle boating, paddle boarding and kayaking.
“With groundbreaking scheduled to happen in March, there is still time for homeowners who are interested in this lot to jump in and work with our designer to start making all those interior and exterior selections on the home,” says Garcia. “It all starts with a conversation with us. If you’d like to take advantage of being in a home show and the discounts that come along with it, including incentives, upgrades, and discounts, give us a call.”
G&G Custom Homes builds homes for clients who want to avoid the stresses of an average custom home build. Garcia believes a house should be a reflection of the people and families that call it home. That’s why his builds have incorporated cool custom features such as roof-top porches, hidden rooms, pocket baby gates, sports courts, bourbon rooms, under-garage storage, and more. Garcia selects only a limited number of homes to build each year so that he can develop a close working relationship with each family and work directly with them from start to finish. This provides a memorable experience and a house they are proud to call their forever home.
“If you can dream it, G&G can deliver it,” says Garcia. “This is going to be one heck of a show, come 2024!”
