Pyatt Builders Introduces Two New Series

While most townhomes have a reputation for looking cookiecutter, Pyatt Builders’ new Town Series is breaking the mold by blending unique charm with appealing tradition.

“We created this series with the mindset of trying to be different, especially with the livability of each floorplan,” says Brittany Pyatt, VP of Design and Research at Pyatt Builders. “These plans don’t feel like townhomes but rather individual single-family homes.”

The units incorporate an abundance of windows to allow natural light to flow in. Each space was carefully and thoughtfully designed to incorporate designs for many lifestyles. From multi-generation living to single-family dwellings, there’s a floorplan that will suit everyone.

“There are lots of individual spaces to serve whatever purpose is needed, whether that’s a rec room, playroom, or additional living room – the space is yours to use as you need,” says Pyatt.

The Town Series has two furnished model homes: the Uptown and the Midtown. Both are located in the Colonnade neighborhood in McCordsville, which is conveniently located near McCordsville Elementary School and the developing McCord Square.

Each of Pyatt’s innovative townhome plans incorporate interiors that unfold into welcoming outdoor living, with each plan including a deck or a porch area.

Pyatt Builders recently launched the urban-style Edge Series, which has rear-alley entry with a garage in the back. The majority of these single-family floor plans include a covered atrium on the side of the house as well as a front porch and rear patio, each of which offer fresh approaches to streetside living.

“The atrium is a great spot for an outdoor fireplace,” says Pyatt. “We, as Hoosiers, are known for trying to extend our seasons as much as possible so the Edge Series, with its front, side, and back options for outdoor living, is great. The plans certainly encourage social interactions.”

Available in Plainfield’s Hobbs Station, the Edge Series was designed with big wide-open spaces between the kitchen, dining area, and great room to allow for entertaining and everyday living.

The exteriors offer five different elevation styles (Craftsman, Farmhouse, Cottage, Prairie, & Modern), all with unique roof lines that have different trim details. Each draws from styles common to Indianapolis’ urban neighborhoods, bringing a downtown flair to the suburb.

“It’s that neighborhood feel where people sit out on their porches talking to one another,” says Pyatt. “A connected community is really the goal.”

Both of these series are redefining neighborhood development in Central Indiana by introducing a fresh focus on community interaction. From the home itself to prime locations within suburban communities, Pyatt is making it easier for homeowners to know their neighbors.

“Our team has done a great job of creating something unique that isn’t out there right now,” says Pyatt.
